Seaside’s “A Second Helping—3G” will be hosting a Food Drive in February to feed the Homeless and Homebound in our community.
Bert and Vicki Barman, leaders of “A Second Helping—3G”, shared that this ministry is one of the few local efforts providing food to those living in the woods. Over the past few years, A Second Helping—3G has partnered with local Homeless Coalitions to assist Homeless and Homebound families and individuals, focusing on their most pressing need: food.
Through generous donations of specific food items, A Second Helping—3G has prepared and delivered food boxes to both Homeless and Homebound families. In 2024 alone, the team has delivered over 900 boxes of food to people who have no way of accessing a Food Pantry.
