Do you want to draw deeper into a relationship with God? But sometimes feel that He is far away and difficult to understand? How can we know God better and trust Him more? Bible teacher Melissa Spoelstra will lead us on a six week study of the names of God - His character revealed. One way God makes Himself known is through His names in scripture. While names identify and distinguish us, God's names go a step further. They reveal God's character. In this study we'll discover how God is named in the Bible. He is Elohim, Yahweh, Adonai, Messiah and many more. As we learn His names, we will see that His character and plans are trustworthy. We won't find answers for every question we have, but our time together will help us to develop greater trust in the midst of lif'e's ambiguities. We'll be reminded that God does not promise lifelong happiness and ease for His followers, but He offers something far better: a loving relationship that lasts forever.
Our study will occur March 31, April 7, April 14, April 28, May 5, and May 12 from 2:00-3:00 pm. Register by March 24 on the church website or on the Registration Sheet in the Gallery.
